Why does the body not actually rotate when I apply a rotational velocity?

When a Rotational Velocity is specified for a model, the forces that represent the centrifugal effect due to the rotation are applied. The model is not physically rotated (it’s like you are rotating with the wheel). If you need to physically rotate the model, the simplest approach is probably to use Joints. You can use a revolute joint with an applied rotational velocity and to physically rotate the model. Note: the kinematic effects like velocity and acceleration for joints are applicable only in Transient analysis.
