Why do I get the error “Request name HFSS_PARALLEL does not exist in the licensing pool”, even though an ‘anshpc_pack’ license is available.

There are two variations of HPC licenses. The ANSYS HPC license and the ANSYS Electronics HPC license. The feature ‘anshpc_pack’ is issued with the ANSYS HPC license. This error occurs when the software is set to look for the ANSYS Electronics HPC license instead of the ANSYS HPC license. To fix this, change HPC settings in the software by going to Tools > Options > HPC and Analysis Options > in the Options tab, change ‘Use legacy Electronics HPC License’ to ‘False’. The software will now look for the ‘anshpc_pack’ feature.
