When defining the parameter “Frozen Rotor Theta Offset” in a rotor-stator simulation involving Frozen Rotor interface, it seems to be stored in the RES file and applied on restarts from that RES file?

The parameter “Frozen Rotor Theta Offset” is indeed stored in the RES file. Whenever a restart is performed from this RES file, and no DEF file or modified CCL in RES file is used to override the setting of “Frozen Rotor Theta Offset” stored in the RES file, the restart will be performed using the existing setting for the parameter “Frozen Rotor Theta Offset”. The reason is, that a clean restart can be performed in case the parameter “Frozen Rotor Theta Offset” has been previously defined. To override the setting of the parameter “Frozen Rotor Theta Offset”, perform one of the following steps: 1) Edit the CCL of the RES file and explicitely set the parameter “Frozen Rotor Theta Offset” to another value. 2) Use a DEF file and the RES file for a restart. In the DEF file define explicitely another value for the parameter “Frozen Rotor Theta Offset”.
