User-defined memory is a variable that can save any numeric data in each cell. At the beginning of the simulation, you can define the number of user defined memories needed for the analysis. This is done through Define->User-Defined-> Memory and specify the number used in the panel. When post-processing, such as displaying contours, select the User Defined Memory # to display. There are many application examples of UDM usage are found in the solutions database. For example, calculating customized volume integrals, cumulative values, customized histogram data etc. You may receive an Access Violation error when using the UDM if more UDMs are accessed within the UDF than the number of allotted/defined UDMs.
