What element thickness is required at the surface of a solid conductor subjected to a sinusoidal current?

Due to field cancellation at the center of the conductor, the current concentrates at the surface of the conductor in the region known as the ‘skin depth.’ To capture this, the user should have elements at the surface of the conductor no thicker than 1/sqrt{f*pi*conductivity*permeability}. Where f is 1/period of the sine wave, pi is pi, conductivity is 1/resistivity and permeability is absolute permeability, e.g., 12.57e-7 for non-permeable materials.
