      Bubble columns are widely used in the chemical/process industry. The attached document summarizes the best practices that have been effective in the modeling of bubble columns. Recommendations related to the following are discussed: 1. Pre-Processing Requirements 2. Choice of dispersed multiphase model 3. Importance of interfacial forces 4. Treatment of the liquid free surface In addition recommended settings for Multiphase models, Turbulence, phase interaction terms & discretization schemes are covered along with a validation study.
