Reading Coordinate File Created as per Documentation in DesignModeler Leads to Error or Incorrect Geometry

The Coordinate file is created according to the format described in DesignModeler documentation, but it gives error messages or creates incorrect geometry when imported into DesignModeler. This issue is commonly seen in European countries, where, on Windows OS the default symbol for the decimal is the comma (“,”) instead of a dot (“.”). If the coordinate file uses dots (“.”) as decimal symbol it is interpreted incorrectly, which leads to an error or a wrong geometry (even if Windows OS itself is in English). There are two fixes to this issue: 1) Change the decimal symbol in the coordinate file from “.” to “,”. 2) Change the regional settings of Windows OS (Control Panel > Clock, Language, and Region > Change the date, time, or number format). Click on “Additional Settings”. Change “Decimal Symbol” from “.” to “,” and change the “Digit Grouping Symbol” from “,” to “.”.
