FAQ
ParticipantPOLYFLOW usually writes out CFD-Post output result files at each step by default. For large 3D evolution or time-dependent simulations, this can require a significant amount of disk space. Is there any way CFD-Post output result file be written only for the last time step so as to save disk space? Yes, if the intention is to save the CFD-Post output result file only at the last time step, one easy way is to select “Output at exact t values†under “Outputs -> Outputs triggering†panel, then click on “Modify list of t valuesâ€. Retain the default value unity for “number of valuesâ€, click on “Modify all values†and input the value to be the value which you have specified for “upper time limit/upper limit of S†under “Numerical Parameters -> Transient iterative parameters/Evolution parametersâ€.
