A free surface case is generated (2D or 3D) with remeshing. However, POLYDATA refuses to enable a constraint on global displacement. Actually POLYDATA sends the warning: “Constraint on free jet displacement: there is no remeshing defined. This option is not necessary” What can be done? Constraint on global displacement can be invoked only if the selected remeshing is based on slicing (Spines, Optimesh, Streamwise). If the Thompson technique is invoked, the constraint cannot be applied. Here, although the message is not really in agreement with the setup, the definition of the remeshing technique should be inspected and a corrective action could be taken when needed.
