Real-time GPU solvers
Ansys Discovery uses real-time GPU solvers under Discovery Explore Mode to explore ideas, iterate and innovate with unprecedented speed early in your design process. For more information on this solver, click here.
Mechanical + Fluent solvers
Ansys Discovery uses state-of-the-art ANSYS flagship solvers under the Discovery Refine mode to perform high fidelity simulations to validate concept designs. It uses Mechanical APDL solver for performing Structural simulations and Fluent solver for performing Fluid flow simulations.
Integrated SpaceClaim geometry modeling
Ansys Discovery comes with inbuilt geometry modeling capabilities which are available under Discovery Model Mode. These include most of the geometry modeling tools available in SpaceClaim.
Structural + fluids + thermal physics
Ansys Discovery offers multiple capabilities for solving Structural, Fluids, and Thermal physics problems both in Explore mode and Analysis mode. For detailed information on capabilities, click here.
All in a single, easy to use, modern user interface
All of the above features and functionalities are available in a single, easy to use and modern User Interface. You can quickly switch between the different modes (Mode Mode, Explore Mode, Refine Mode) without any need to import or export files from one mode to another. The newly designed Overlay help provides instant help on the tools and features.
