When external CAD files that contain multiple separate surface bodies are imported into SpaceClaim, sometimes they import as a single surface body. If you want to have each surface as a separate body, you can select all surfaces (either through the graphics window, or by selecting the single surface body from the structure tree), then right-click and ‘detach all’. This will create a surface body in the structure tree for each individual surface in the model.
