I would like to use transient adaption, however, when I look in the manual for ANSYS-CFX 19.2 it says that I cannot use mesh adaption for transient problems. How can I use transient mesh adaption?

The transient mesh adaption is a beta feature. I enclose a document detailing how to use this in cfx12. It is important to note though, that this is non-conservative. You can minimise the problem by having the adaption over a wider area, rather than just on volume fraction. To do this you would have to adaption on some function of your choosing.
