A multiconfiguration run always includes a Multiconfiguration Definition File (mdef) file and a directory that contains the different configuration files (cfg): FreeSurface_ansys.mdef FreeSurface_ansys/Configuration1.cfg FreeSurface_ansys/Configuration2.cfg … So you need to copy the mdef file as well as the belonging directory to the cluster. If you want to start the mdef file the ANSYS CFX Solver argument changes from -def to -mdef cfx5solve -mdef FreeSurface_ansys.mdef -part 12 -par-dist “cluster1*12,cluster2*12” …. The directory structure of the results are: FreeSurface_ansys_001.mres (Overall Output File, Configuration Res Files loaded during post processing of mres File) FreeSurface_ansys_001.out (Overall Out File) Files per configuration: FreeSurface_ansys_001/Configuration1_001 (Optional, depends on output options) FreeSurface_ansys_001/Configuration1.cfg (Configuration) FreeSurface_ansys_001/Configuration1_001.out (Configuration Out File) FreeSurface_ansys_001/Configuration1_001.res (Configuration Result File) FreeSurface_ansys_001/Configuration2_001 (Optional, depends on output options) FreeSurface_ansys_001/Configuration2.cfg (Configuration) FreeSurface_ansys_001/Configuration2_001.out (Configuration Out File) FreeSurface_ansys_001/Configuration2_001.res (Configuration Result File) Keywords: Multiconfiguration, Command Line, Directory Structure, mdef, mres
