The issue may arise when ANSYS solver uses the license which is not compatible with SOLID90 element. Please try to change the license preference. Go to Start > ANSYS 18.0 > ANSYS Client Licensing > User License preferences. It will list all the licenses available for Solver with their priority set. If one have than Mechanical Enterprise at first preference, then it can give issue. Try to Move up the Mechanical Enterprise solver license to set first preference. Please verify the compatible license in the ANSYS Help file. Go to Help > Mechanical APDL > select Element References > Solid90. It shows the compatible products at the top. Set any of those products as preferred license. The other issue is that, even though one have set compatible license preference, it may not use it. This is because all the licenses might be consumed by other users. In that case one need to close other Mechanical sessions from your machine or from other users.
