First of all, user needs to set both “Strain” and “Plastic Strain” to “Yes” in the Output Controls under Analysis Settings in the WB LS-DYNA model Also make sure the material model includes plasticity and its von-Mises stress exceeds the material yield stress. Once the model finished its run and has the solution, user needs to highlight the Solution in the Tree Outline and then click on Worksheet in the top tool bar. This will show the list of the user-defined results. Find the EPS (Effective Plastic Strain) and right click on it to create the user-defined result. Finally, right click on EPS to evaluate the results. This should show the results of plastic strain.
