How to mesh a STL geometry in ANSYS Meshing inside Workbench?

When importing a STL geometry into ANSYS DesignModeler (DM) or ANSYS SpaceClaim (SCDM), then the geometry is just a facetted surface. Opening this facetted surface in ANSYS Meshing reduces the available meshing methods to patch-independent tetra, body-fitted cartesian and layered tet. For access to all meshing methods, it is required to convert the STL facets into a body. In SCDM this is achieved by the right mouse button menu “Convert to Solid” In DM this is achieved by using the body operation “Sew” which will convert the STL surface to a solid when successfull.
