FAQ
ParticipantFor complex cases with many cell zones and non conformal interfaces the convergence of scalar equations may become slow, taking many iterations to obtain a steady state result. This can be improved by activating a solver stabilization method. The potential solver as well as user scalars are using the Fixed cycle method in the AMG solver, without any stabilization method. In the Advanced Solution Controls either BCGSTAB or GMRES can be selected for stabilization. Both result in faster convergence at the cost of added CPU time.
