How to export node number and xyz coordinates?

In Fluent you can use following. Go to File -> Export -> Solution Data If you choose ASCII as the File Type and select all the relevant surfaces the data file which gets written contains node number and the X,Y,Z coordinate of these nodes. It is suggested to export the information one surface at the time if a clear distinction among the surfaces is needed or it would become difficult to find out which nodes belong to which surface. This format also doesn’t talk about connectivity of the different nodes. Also to do this, you will need to initialize the solution. In meshing, there is no direct way.
