By default participation in the ANSYS Product Improvement Program is activated. It needs to be deactivated by each user. This might become an IT security concern for network installations in global account, especially in the context of a network installation. If you use network installation and wish to disable the ANSYS Product Improvement Program (APIP) for all clients from a central location, perform the following steps on the file server: 1.Navigate to the installation directory: [Drive:]v191commonfilesglobalsettings 2.Open the file ANSYSProductImprovementProgram.txt. 3.Change the value to from “on” to “off” and save the file. This information is also provided in the ANSYS help ANSYS Documentation –> Installation and licensing –> Installation and Licensing Documentation –> Linux Installation Guide –> 4.5.3 Network Installation and Product and CAD configuration
