You have the possibility to access the middle point of an edge by using the ‘shift’ key while hoovering with the mouse over the middle of the line. A small triangle will appear, marking the middle point, and you can click on it. Once selected, choosing the ‘Plane’ tool will create a plane at the desired location It can be useful for instance to split a geometry in half, without having to measure lengths or split the existing topologies A small video is attached to illustrate the process
