There are 2 ways to do this: 1. Create your view and use Assembly>File+ (in v19.0 or later)/Insert>File+ (in v18.2) to bring in your new model. Then deselect the other components/parts in the structure tree if they are overlapping. 2. Start a new design, add the views, then using File>Save As a *.scdot (SpaceClaim Template) file. Then go into File> SpaceClaim Options> Support Files and after checking the box to “Use template for new designs” select the already saved *.scdot file. This way views will be available for future new designs. Note that views are a property of the File setting.
