There is no option to change the default (Automatic) Share topology method for Multibody parts in DesignModeler. But one can select all bodies in graphics and set Share topology method for them ( Body level share topo method ). When multiple bodies are selected from graphics, on bottom left side it should show details of selected bodies. In the details, one can set Share topology method to ‘None’. This will overwrite the Share topology method set at part level.
For illustration, If a multibody part, some bodies have share topo method ‘None’ and some bodies of part have ‘Automatic/Default’ then share topology will be generated for bodies with ‘Automatic/Default’ option while other bodies will not participate in share topology.
