We have an exciting announcement about badges coming in May 2025. Until then, we will temporarily stop issuing new badges for course completions and certifications. However, all completions will be recorded and fulfilled after May 2025.

How do I calculate the mass flux along an arbitrary plane on the surface?

Create splines on the surface of the geometry. Once you have created splines, create a spline clip and then extrude the clip. The distance of extrusion if the thickness of the surface. While in the extrusion window, you could use the direction vectors to extrude in the direction normal to the surface ( If you have the geometry file, you can calculate the angle from spaceclaim using the measure option). Once you have created the extruded part, make sure to select that part and calculate the mass flux average using the calculator tool.
