How could I parametrize the result of a operation where one of the bodies goes in one direction and then it comes back. We’ll use two Load step in Mechanical to define the displacement of the upper body, but several load steps cannot be parametrized. I’d like to parametrize both displacements values.

Solution
ParticipantIf we want to use the parameter set in a model, we are bound to use 1 load step What if we need to parametrize the result of a operation where one of the bodies goes and come back. We’ll use two Load step in Mechanical to define the displacement of the upper body. The first one to impose a downwards movement and the second one to impose the upwards movement. This solution shows a workaround to parametrize both displacements using only 1 LoadStep so the parameter set can be used to perform optimization analysis Review pdf and file attached 2044329_Parametrize_displacements.pdf 2044329_Ex_parametrize_several_dips_on_1loadstep.wbpz
