FAQ
ParticipantForte uses chemistry files in CHEMKIN format. The following steps can be followed to update or create a new chemistry set (update chemical mechanism):
1. Go to Utility> Preprocessing and unarchive the mechanism if the provided chemistry set is in .ckzip format (CHEMKIN archive)
2. Click new Chemistry Set, browse to and select the Gas-Phase Kinetics file and the Thermodynamics data file
3. Run the Pre-Processor to process the chemistry files
4. On the Chemistry dialog, import the chemistry set
5. Browse to the chemistry set and view it to verify correctness
