GT-POWER will not couple with Fluent. My Fluent/GT-POWER simulation fails immediately upon reading .dat (GT input file). The .out file that I am told to view for diagnostics is empty. How can I resolve this?

The fact that the .out file is empty means that the run didn’t even start, and that the problem is with the input file itself. GT-POWER is neither forward or backward compatible, so the version of GT that generates the input file is the version that must be coupled with Fluent. Coupling between Fluent and GT is controlled by two .dll files. These can be found in the GT-Power installation and must be copied to a folder in the Fluent installation that is to couple with the GT release. For instance, to couple Fluent 2020R2 with GT-POWER 2021, copy: gtlink.dll gtlink_dp.dll from C:GTIv2021GTsuitebinwin64coupling to C:Program FilesANSYS Incv202fluentfluent20.2.0gtpowerwin64 This will overwrite the default .dll files in the folder and allow Fluent 2020R2 to couple with GT 2021 rather than GT2020 (default)..
