A possible reason is that the user modified the option under the Results tab under Output Control in CFX-Pre. If the user sets the option from Standard (default) to Selected Variables and doesn’t check the box for Include Mesh, this error can occur. It is not recommended to use anything other than the Standard option in order to avoid this error and also restart problems. A workaround is to add the results to a .def file. This can be done with the Windows command: type file.res >> file.def
