      Problem: With Discovery Enterprise license, following warning message may appear:

      WARNING: Licensing files currently installed are more recent than those on the installation media.

      The files will not be installed and will be deselected….

       

      Cause:  The installation of Discovery Enterprise contains some newer .exe files than the license manager installation. This causes the error seen.

       

      Recommended solution: To fix this issue, Delete or rename the existing ‘Shared FilesLicensinglicadmindocuabout.licadmin’ file, usually located within  C:Program FilesAnsys Inc.  Then try reinstalling the updated License Manager.
