Ansys Discovery products are available to download from the Customer Portal at the link below. The current version is Release 2026 R1, released 12 March 2026.
The primary download packages are:
ANSYS DISCOVERY (12.20 GB)
Includes:
- Ansys Discovery
- Ansys Geometry Interfaces
- Ansys License Manager*
ANSYS SPACECLAIM (2.10GB)
Includes:
- Ansys SpaceClaim
- Ansys License Manager*
* These packages support both named user and floating licensing. Ansys License Manager is not required for named user licenses. It should only be installed if you are using an enterprise floating license.
Software packages for previous versions of Ansys Discovery and Ansys SpaceClaim products are available to download as well.
Documents
Attached here is the Discovery Installation Guide, covering topics from Installation Prerequisites to Product Licensing as well as a guide for the installation steps.
For additional information, please also refer to the Known Issues and Limitations for this release, from the link provided above.
Add-on Packages
The Customer Portal also provides add-on which further enhance Ansys Discovery:

- For Autodesk Fusion users, an addin is provided for import of simulation projects from Autodesk Fusion 360 Simulation or Generative Design outcomes.
- Sample Addins contain several example add-ins to help you get started customizing Discovery to further enhance it for your simulation needs.
