Actually to stick to the auto-range you have to adjust your TUI command to: “/display/contour your variable , ,”. If you are trying to create a contour plot of pressure and after setting auto-range? to yes the TUI-command should be “/display/contour pressure , ,”. This means you need to change the numerical values saved in Fluent in your Journal with “,”. We have introduced objects which replace (stepwise) the old legacy graphics. You can create the objects in TUI (/display/objects) and make there your settings: kind of the object (contours or vectors or anything else), name, field-variable and some other settings like range and color-maps. These settings are then saved and associated with the object. Afterwards you can just go to display/objects display yourobjectname to display the newly created object. We recommend using the new introduced objects instead of working with the old legacy stuff.
