Contour results in Discovery different from Discovery Live

Problem: In an external flow simulation, the contour results plotted on a plane in Discovery and Discovery live are not the same.
Cause: Contours results plotted on plane are different in Discovery because of the default surface display setting that is set in Discovery. The default surface display option under Contours is set as “Highest Value” which results in the contour display as shown above.
Recommended Solution: The solution to overcome this display issue is by changing the surface display option under Contour settings. Click on the Contour Results in Results Arc to open the Contour Display settings. Set the “Surface display priority” as Outer.
You will now see the contour results similar to Discovery Live i.e. contours along the plane showing min to max values. Make sure that you have enabled the Cut Plane option from the Results Arc.
