From Discovery 2024 R2, the Connection Assessment Tool can also determine the bolt factor of safety based on modified AISC ASD criteria, to aid in the simulation of bolted connections.
This enhances workflow for upfront simulation of bolted connections.Earlier from Discovery versions 2023 R1 to 2024 R1, connection assessment tool used to evaluate the pass, fail, or borderline status for bonded contacts only in Explore mode.
