Can I restart Mechanical solutions on different operating systems, versions and core counts?

      The operating system can not change when restarting. For shared memory Mechanical solver (distribute solution unchecked in Mechanical Tools> Solver Process Settings, Advanced.) OS and core counts can be switched for restart. For distributed Mechanical solver (distribute solution checked in Mechanical Tools> Solver Process Settings, Advanced.), OS can be switched, but core counts need to be same.
