      For 2D PDF, the best option is to convert it to an image file like JPEG and import it. Later, you can sketch using the reference of imported image. For 3D PDF, it can be opened in SpaceClaim. Such files actually contain 3D geometry definition, but there may be limited tools which can actually generate them. We can generate 3D PDF using SpaceClaim.
