ANSYS License Manager is identifying the MAC address of the machine as ‘ffffffff’ in place of alphanumeric address.

Probably you are using a Virtual Machine. FlexLM has issues with bridged/teamed network adapters, which are used in HyperV. Same as in your license server. That is the reason ANSYS License Manager is not able to see correct MAC address of the machine. We have an option of providing the license on ‘Disk Serial Number so You should get a new ANSYS License file for the same machine on Disk Serial number.
