The Ansys Innovation Space website recently experienced a database corruption issue. While service has been restored there appears to have been some data loss from November 13. We are still investigating and apologize for any issues our users may have as a result.

If Workbench crashes, one may use the .mechdb files available in the project folder to reconstruct the model. This can be done by following these steps:
      1. Copy all the .mechdb files from the crashed project folder to a new location.
      2. Rename the file extension from .mechdb to .mechdat.
      3. Open a new WB project, drag and drop all .mechdat files into the new project page one by one. The project should now be reconstructed.
      4. Save the new project file and resume the simulation as usual.
