The Ansys Innovation Space website recently experienced a database corruption issue. While service has been restored there appears to have been some data loss from November 13. We are still investigating and apologize for any issues our users may have as a result.

      If user is interested in creating or adding a new material to the SCDM database, custom material property needs to be placed in the following directories for SpaceClaim installs in order for the software to recognize the materials in the custom/new XML files. C:Program FilesANSYS Incv2xxscdmLibraryMaterials C:Program FilesANSYS Incv2xxscdmMaterialLibrary v2xx – where xx can be changed based on the version the user has installed on their computer.
