According to Elements of Physics by Shortley and Williams the speed of sound in air at 20 degC is 344 meters/second; in water 1461 meters/second and in sea water 1500 meter/second. The density of air at 20 degC is 1.204Kg/meter^3, of water 1000 kg/meter^3 and sea water is 1030 kg/meter^3. (SR 1284898521)
