What is the criterion that allows Savant to convert an imported near field in current sources?

Savant can convert a near field in a current distribution using the Surface Equivalence Theorem (also known as Huygens’s Principle). In this way, Savant can reproduce the electromagnetic field that is outside the generic surface S (surface of the Huygens box) that contains two generic electric and magnetic sources J and Jm.
