Is it possible to create CMS superelements in WB-Mechanical without using command objects?

Yes. Attached is a simple example in a Static Structural Analysis. This general procedure should also work for Modal and Thermal Analysis. This will work in R2020-R2 and newer releases with beta switch turned ON. It is still beta as of R2021-R1. In Mechanical GUI, highlight the Model Tab and insert “Condensed Geometry” from the available ICON. Once the condensed geometry folder appears in the Project tree, designate the desired part(s) and ‘Detect Part Interfaces’ for the use pass to generate the CMS Superelements. An Expansion branch will also appear automatically under Solution Branch to give you the option to expand results for the superelement or leave it in condensed format. Refer also to the MAPDL Substructuring Analysis Guide for more background information about CMS Superelement technology and solver procedures.
