How do the calculations work in a steady-state flow with unsteady DPM analysis?

For a steady-state flow with non-stationary particles (DPM), the calculation summary is as follows: 1.Particles are injected at the set repeat interval in Interaction column, starting an unsteady calculation of the particle only. 2.The trajectory of the particles is calculated upto Particle Time Step Size × Number of Time steps. 3.If the time is greater than the Stop time set in Injection, it stops in the middle of the 4.After particle tracking, the flow calculation is performed. When the next DPM starts, it repeats Steps 1 to 3. It should be noted here that the particles are tracked unsteady, like a real unsteady calculation, because the data at each time is not stored. Each particle state cannot be displayed. If there be the cause, in most cases, we recommend that you also calculate a non-stationary flow field.
