Why a steady state thermal model without contacts give pivot error whereas with contact it gives a pivot warning?

      The reason for this is most likely contact providing some numerical stability – suppressing contacts gives an error (zero pivot) whereas with contacts present, it is a warning due to a non-zero pivot.
