Discovery – Unable to start SpaceClaim or Discovery after login

Problem: For Named User (Subscription) license, when SpaceClaim or Discovery 2020 R2 is launched and login credentials are specified, the applications don’t start.

Cause: The Named User (Subscription) license is not getting activated after specifying login credentials due to which the applications don’t start.

Recommended Solution: If the applications don’t start, activate the Named User (Subscription) license manually through Command Prompt. Please refer to below article on activating the license manually through Command Prompt.

Once the Named User (Subscription) license is successfully activated through Command Prompt, launch SpaceClaim or Discovery 2020 R2. The login page won’t appear and you should be able to launch and use the applications successfully.
