spot diagram is evaluated with which wavelength .If three wavelengths are set in design like blue red and green using preset values.Airy disk radius formula would be R=2.44(lambda)(f/#)*1/2

      plz guide

      Hi Uzma,

Thank you for reaching out to us. The Airy disk is calcutlated using the primary wavelength. You can check your primary wavelength under your System Explorer settings. Additionally, an alternative to calculate the Airy disk on a diffent wavelength would be under the spot diagram settings/ wavelength:

I hope that was helpful, let me know if I can be of further assistance.

      Kind Regards,

      Niki

Thank u so much .One more thing what is the vertical axis title and horizonatal axis title depict in plot Like 20mm and Imag

      Hi Uzma,

In this case, the y-axis (20mm) is the the scale of the spot diagram. On the horizontal axis the IMA are the coordinates of the spot reference point on the image planeIn the following image the Chief Ray is the reference point:

Alright mam. Many Thanks. One more thing which i want to ask is about material upload.I have Zr Data that is taken from the website i have chaged into data file but when i upload it in zeemax data doesn't get uploaded.Pic is attched here with and i also added data file too is there any mistake as i am using cornady model. While uploading would we hv to cautious in  model selection  too or we can take any model?

In the following data first 5 digit 0.4047are for wavelength and rest like 2.828863563is index value

Can you plz guide that how distortion helps to improve relative illumination.AS in Zeemax document i read that as we move photodiode towards the edge of the image then brigtness decreases due to obliquity fcator no matter how uniform and good source and perfect lens we have .So decrease in relative illumination can be compensated by distortion
