“Winstock not running”

      Hello Ansys team,

      I was having an issue regarding starting my license..
       
      Whenever I try to start my license manager or see the licenses on my computer, I keep getting the error message "Winstock not running". After deleting and reinstalling, this message continues to appear.
       
      I was wondering if this is a common issue and how abouts to resolve such an issue. An example is shown below...

      Hi Steven,

      Check if your lmgrd port is been used be another service.

      Please restart the Ansys License Manager on server end and on client end run the below command on command prompt with admin access.

      netsh winsock reset

      And restarted the computer.

        Hi Rajeshwari,

        How does one check the LMGRD port? The netsh command has not seemed to work for some reason.
