I am a member of a college which takes part in BAJA SAE. In Static Structural analysis of the roll cage, I am getting a FOS of around 1.5 by using static loading conditions of 10G on the roll cage.
In the dynamic analysis, I am getting a very low FOS of around 0.2. I have tried adding structural support, increasing weldment thickness, and other such things without obtaining a significant change in FOS.
Have I done some common mistakes or errors?
I have done 2D surface meshing by the way.
Thanks in advance for any suggestions or help related to troubleshooting the issue. Also sorry if there is some obvious answer and I don't know it.

Sorry for the delay. Can you explain more about the issue? Are you applying same loading in static and explicit? What is your purpose of doing same analysis in static and explicit?
Also, how you have applied 10g load, as I can see you have applied displacement.
Thanks amaniyar
