SubscriberGood Evening,
An upward force is being applied to both side pieces (green and yellow) in order to see the deformation in the center part (greu). What kind of joints/connections should I insert?
Thank you in advance for any answer

Ansys EmployeeYou can use 'revolute joint' as described in the Ansys Help.nhttps://ansyshelp.ansys.com/account/secured?returnurl=/Views/Secured/corp/v202/en/wb_sim/ds_Joints_types_revolute.htmlnDecember 22, 2020 at 4:57 pmbibas
SubscriberThe real structure does have joints but they act like they are almost fixed.nAnother doubt i am having is about the equation force. Since the equation does have x variable i can only insert the equation in pressure and not in force, do i need to divide by the area?nDecember 24, 2020 at 7:50 amRahul Kumbhar
Ansys Employeeyou should be able to insert force as a function.nViewing 3 reply threads- The topic ‘Which joint is correct?’ is closed to new replies.
