      Hello @Kremella ,

The flow over a rough wall generally leads to higher levels of friction pressure losses.

Thanks for your response @prajput , Is there a way to calculate the friction losses?

Yes, you can calculate the friction losses using the Darcy-Weisbach equation. The pressure losses are proportional to the length of the pipe and the Darcy-Weisbach friction factor:

      delta_P / L = f_D * (rho / 2) * (V_avg^2 / D )

      where,

      delta_P - pressure drop

      L - pipe length

      f_D - friction factor

      rho - fluid density

      mu - fluid dynamic viscosity

      V_avg - average fluid velocity

      D - pipe diameter

This equation is valid for incompressible flows.
