SubscriberI am analyzing blood flow dynamics using Ansys. I have ever used 1000 iterations. But I have recently noticed that if I create complex geometry, high iterations don't lead to the good results. The velocity, WSS and turbulence values are largely different from the actual measurements. But if it is 100 iterations, the values are similar to the actual values. Is this observation true? I am wondering if high iterations are best or not.

Forum ModeratorThe number of iterations isn't what we're setting as such. We want enough iterations such that the solver converges. If the geometry is complex have you put in enough cells (ie sufficient mesh resolution) to capture the flow?
