      Hardening is a process to increase material's hardness, in other words, resistance to plastic deformation.

      Hello @skadam

      Strain hardening refers to the resistance of a metal to further plastic deformation. The tendency of a metal to strain harden is indicated by tangent moduli of the plastic curve.

      Hi all! To add to the above answers, in Ansys, we can have bilinear/multilinear isotropic hardening and bilinear/multilinear kinematic hardening.
